Hi! I'm Em
I am the founder of BalanceFAST and an Intuitive Eating and Habit Change Coach.
I am a master of habit change, sustainable wellness, body wisdom, and food freedom.
It is my passion as a coach to help people appropriately challenge harmful diet and exercise narratives and negative body image beliefs, and to find balance in their lives to create true well-being.
My Background
With over a decade in mental health, wellness, and fitness spaces, I have personally and professionally navigated and learned what it takes to heal from the learned behaviors and beliefs of diet and fitness culture.
Having coached in both the mental health and fitness spaces for many years, I realized that so many of us fail to connect our mental and physical health, thereby preventing us from achieving the sustainable, effective, healthy habits we are seeking.
I decided to do a 180 from the counselor route and become a certified health coach. The experience I gained from that education and the jobs to follow quickly turned into a passion. I went on to earn my Master's in Health and Wellness Management, become a Level 1 CrossFit trainer, and become a Certified Mind Body Eating Coach, all of which support the wonderful work I get to do with clients every day.
Beyond BalanceFAST
Outside of being an Intuitive Eating and Habit Change Coach, I do my best to practice what I preach and create my version of balance.
From being an "obsessed with my dogs" dog mom, partner to my best friend, mediocre CrossFitter, self-acclaimed chef and food critic, basic volleyball player, avid dirty martini lover, and enjoyer of the outdoors, I aim to never sell myself short or miss out on life.
